It looks like Pat Leahy is against our First Amendment Rights in the United States of America.
The Durbin amdt. No 591 could take away our medias right to report whats really going on and limit what they say about the government.
But Pat Leahy belives that's just fine to eat away at our right to free speech, as he voted for the amendment. I would have voted Against it.

Leahy votes Nay
When you look at Pat Leahy's voting record he seems to be against the the Bill of Rights.
This is a quote from Pat Leahy's web site.
"The experienced picks announced today will fill key leadership posts at the Department of
Justice when the United States faces many serious challenges," Leahy said. "I am encouraged
by President-elect Obama's choices of excellent lawyers with deep experience at the
department to help Eric H. Holder Jr, his choice to serve as Attorney General of the United
States, right the ship."
"The need to have the new leadership team at the department up and running without delay
could not be greater in light of the Department's vital missions and the unprecedented
politicization that has weakened morale throughout the department and dealt a blow to the
country's confidence in the nation's top law enforcement agency," Leahy continued. "The new
Attorney General, the department and the nation will be well-served by this leadership team."
It seems Pat Leahy supports the Attorney General that calls America
a Nation Of Cowards when it comes to racism,
and who want's to destroy our second amendment rights.
